NFT CARDS REVEAL: A Sneak Peak From the Upcoming Alpha Deck!
NFT CARDS SNEAK PEAK!!!!
We are excited to release the first two images of our NFT cards! This has been a long road — deciding every component on the cards. We feel that we’ve reached a certain quality with the artwork, card frames, card stats, rarity, vMANA cost and descriptions. The Alpha Deck for each Hero will include (48) unique cards for each Hero Deck and (4) Legendary cards that are shared between them!
CARDS, CARDS, CARDS
The inspiration for these cards came from several of the most popular trading card games. We found inspiration in Yugioh, MTG, Top Trump and Pokemon. “The Bloodwing” (pictured to the left) is an example of an Epic card. These are Artifact cards that were discovered in secret, hidden tombs. The tombs were recently discovered by the Vampires and their (currently a secret…) enemies. You’ll find that an entire story is woven into the card set. There is an underlying reason for the war between Vampires and their enemy. Epic and Legendary cards are the most telling, as these are objects obtained by the efforts of both sides in the war. There will be (10) epic cards.
RARITIES & PACK ODDS
The rarities for the cards are shown above (Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, Legendary). These stickers are shown on every card. The enemy token of Vampire will have its respective token, with rarity colouring as well. Pack odds are still in discussion — but we do agree that Legendary cards must have at least 1 in 100 pack odds to make them desirable. Each pack will contain (5) cards and have a guaranteed Uncommon or Rare.
CARD COMPONENTS!
Each card has several components that signal value and rarity. “Symphony of Horrors” is a Rare card, and thus has Gold text. Shown to the right of the card name is the vMANA cost. The higher the value of a card, the more vMANA cost there is to play it. In the middle section we find the card type and usage slot. The Alpha Deck will have Global cards to begin with. The VAMP sticker to the right of this identifies the rareness of a particular card. We have the stats and description below — with the card edition and pack name on the bottom. Shown in the middle is a sticker, which will be on all cards that are Rare, Epic and Legendary.
Our team would like to thank the Community for staying patient while these cards were designed. It takes careful planning to make a worthy deck, and we are excited for the future of NFT in our ecosystem! That’s all for today Vlads.
